In the past few days as states have closed their borders and Australia increases its national response to #COVID19, there was much uncertainty as to what the "essential services" declaration meant for truckies across Australia. As of Tuesday 25th March, the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator in conjunction with a commitment from all relevant government bodies declared that "all freight movements will continue, ensuring certainty for heavy vehicle operators."
